Hey, first, congrats on the NOA2. I was just curious about how your visajourney timeline estimate for NOA2 compared to your actual NOA2.

Hi, thanks! initially it was estimated to take 6-8 months and took 6.5 months... We thought we had a straight forward application but it’s a mystery as to how they are processed. So it can take anywhere between 4-8 months.

Hey. Congrats on the interview! Have you received your visa yet?

Hi, thank you. Yes we did. Ours took about 11 months but we took our time. Took long to gather up required docs after noa2 etc... it could have been done in 9 months.

I saw that you have your interview coming up. It’s quick process. My fiancée took the required docs a few pics, and answered a few questions, that was it. Received the visa literally 3 days later in Toronto.

Oh good to hear. Ya I’m hoping it’s an easy process. Had the medical yesterday and that was a breeze. I’m very excited to get to the next step.

My fiancée was nervous a bit but when she came out she was like that was simple and straightforward. Everyone at the consulate was super nice. It’s not like an interrogation lol
