Embassy Review : Interview was very easy-going for my fiance. He submitted paperwork before the interview to a secretary who thanked him for having everything neatly organized with tabs. She said it was very helpful. In his interview he had someone who seemed new and my fiance says he seemed almost as nervous as him! He didn't speak a lot of Spanish and my fiance said it was okay to speak to him in English which helped the process. He asked him a lot of the questions that you see in a "questions practice list", but there was two questions he did not know the answer to and weren't on a list which was "how long have the petitioner's parents have been together?" and "where does the petitioner's sister work?" (my parents and my sister are the only family that live near me). He didn't know the answer to either question but it didn't cause any problems. Over all the interview went by fast and he was approved without a problem!
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
