Comments : We are accelerating at the NVC stage. As soon as we got the case number from NVC, we wrote a letter to the Embassy. They accepted to expedite the process. The interview went very well. The Consul said that the Embassy expedites almost all cases. So I truly recommend that you should speed the NVC stage. I am ready to speak English and Russian to help you in all this process. Am currently located in the United States. I wish you all good luck!

Congrats! Did you file a K3?

Thank you! We sent the docs for K3 from Russia like 2 weeks ago to our lawyers, but I don't think they applied yet . So its shouldnt make a difference.

If you don't mind sharing, what was your reason for the expedite at the NVC stage? Thanks!
Rushnbarry on 2020-05-19 said:
Hi! Honestly, the reasons weren't too strong. We wrote a message describing our bad financial situation. My husband, he is a veteran, lived in Russia for 2 years because we was waiting for the marriage process and he couldn't find a job. Plus we was apart for long time because of he was deployed and we describe how I become depressed and stressed from everyday life being apart. For approvals we sent a military paper showing his deployments and tax information showing a little money made the last year (less than 10 k). REALLY IMPORTANT: in the embassy the consul said that the Russian embassy expedite pretty much all cases unless its ridiculous. So the chances to be expedite is very high. Just sent a really sad mail describing emotional and financial issues by being apart. Wish you luck!

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
