Hey - question for you. How long did it take for your check to cash for AOS? I can't tell if my package got lost or not and the only way for me to tell is when the check gets cashed. Do you happen to remember? Thank you so much.

Hey - it took a while. Maybe 2 weeks. They sent us a text first that it was received and then the check was cashed, I think.
Also, after the nerve-wrecking experience with the petition last year, we sent it with priority mail with signature so we could track the package.
I know how much I hate when people tell me to be patient, but this is honestly the only option we got.
Good luck!

Ok thank you that's good info! Yeah my USPS tracking died so I'm in the dark :( USPS replied to my ticket and said it could have been delivered or destroyed by their high speed rollers. Lol... Very encouraging. Thanks again!

Oh wow. I would wait a while longer. You only sent it on January 24, right? It might take a while. We sent the package on December 9 and it was only delivered on December 14. NOA came on December 25 or something.

I mailed on Jan 22nd and it should have been delivered the 24th. Did signature request and everything. Was that a paper NOA in the mail you got on the 25th?

Yes. 2 letters from USCIS - one for the green card, the other for the EAD.
You might need to send them another package.
Did you try calling USCIS?

Oh ok thank you! That means it took you 14 days to get the paper NOAs. I'm still at day 8 so I'll try to be patient. I just hate when tracking numbers fall off the map! Might try calling if there's nothing in another week. Thanks again :)

Yeah, maybe give it some more time. It is frustrating, I know. Hang in there.
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
