My wife’s interview appointment was for 9:15. My wife had her interview. She said the Consulate Officer was nice. The questions were easy. However, her she was refused at this time due to needing another police certificate from another country where she had worked for 5 years. All other documents we submitted were good. If not for needing this other police certificate she would have been approved. |

Timeline Comments: 6So you got Welcome letter in email, right??... Have you paid fees?? Has your case been created??
I sent the National Visa Center an email December 20 because it had been more than 30 days since USCIS sent our I-130 to the National Visa Center. The National Visa Center responded back to that email and included our case number and Invoice ID number. I have not paid the fees, I need to transfer funds to an account so I can pay the fees. Yes our case has been created. That’s why we have a case number and Invoice ID. I think we will also get a letter in the regular mail.
Thank you for your reply... Good luck
Hi guys! Any word from the consulate in Guangzhou about interviews?
Congratulations on receiving your interview date! Did you expedite at all?
Good luck at your interview today! Keep us posted! :D
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
