Aloha... USCIS approved our K1 Visa on June 2, 2020 and sent it to NVC. In their letter, the USCIS stated that NVC would respond with a welcome letter in 2-4 weeks or around June 30. We have not received anything from NVC and it's 6 weeks beyond the expected welcome letter. Does anyone have experience with the time frame from the I797 from the USCIS until the NVC sends the welcome letter? Mahalo from Hawaii...

Hi, USCIS approved your I-129F petition. I think all petitions are stuck at NVC, waiting for reopening for K1 visa processing at the embassy in Tokyo. You can choose the country "Japan" and see people's timeline. If your NOA2 date was June, you can make a call to NVC for asking your case number then you can check your case status on CEAC status check website. If your status shows "at NVC", your petition is not sent to Japan yet. It means your fiance still need to get instruction from the embassy.
