Consulate Review: London, United Kingdom
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : July 26, 2019
Embassy Review : Our interview time was at 11:30AM on July 11th,2019. My fiancee hadn't submitted a request for me to be present and submitted the request (email I think) a day before the interview. We presented the paper to the lady outside along with our passports and she included my name for person to be allowed in as a petitioner. They let us in around 11:10AM.

We were called within 5-10 minutes and the lady asked for all the required docs (passport, affidavit of support, employment letter etc.). We were assigned a number and asked to wait for interview. It took almost 60-80 minutes of waiting, and our number was called. The lady interviewing hardly asked any questions other than if I was the petitioner and couple of background questions to my fiancee. She has that she had reviewed the case before and we're approved and should receive the passport in a week. The interview was less than 5 minutes and we were on the way out. In short, nothing exciting other than getting approved.

We received the passport exactly one week after the interview on July 18th, 2019.

Thanks for all the advise here and good luck to those waiting.
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
