Port of Entry Review
Event Date
Port of Entry : Atlanta
POE Date : 2021-11-01
Got EAD Stamp :
Biometrics Taken : No
Harassment Level : 0
Comments : My POE experience was very uneventful.

I arrived at ATL, stood on the visitors queue at the CBP, when it got to my turn, I was asked what is the purpose of my trip, I said I have an Immigrant Visa, the officer smiled and said oh, you are here to live.

He asked if I was given anything else, I gave him my medical envelope with my vaccination records and x-ray CD.
He put my passport and the medicals in a see through envelope and sent me to another counter.

They confirmed my address and told me that the visa stamp on my passport is my Greencard for 1 year until I recieve the physical card in 8 to 10 weeks.

I can use it to apply for a job, travel in and out the US etc.

Asked if I have any questions and I went my merry way.

Embassy Review : My appointment was at 8am, I got to the Consulate at 7am, after security checks, I finally entered the Hall at 7.30am

We were on a queue, where documents were original collected

3. Police Report
4. Tax Transcripts
5. Evidence of relationship...i.e photos, chats, call log, money transfers, etc

I was then asked to sit down and wait for my number to be called for interview

Interview:
When and where did you meet your husband?
Have you been married before?
What does he do?
Does he live alone?

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
