people at the consulate were really nice and the whole process was efficient and nice. Spent about 3 hours there. I had a preliminary interview with one lady who reviewed all my documents and said she was going to suggest to her supervisor to approve the visa. Then another lady confirmed it was approved. I left a return envelope and the passport with visa showed up about 3 days later.
