Hi,
How did you find out that NVC had received your case?
MartingUSA on 2019-09-20 said:
Called them and gave them my Lin file number

I’m sorry for the many questions but what is an Lin number? And where can I locate mine?...
My case was also approved around the same time as yours. I’ve been calling NVC and have given them my USCIS receipt number and they say they can’t yet find it in their system.

LIN1234567890 is the USCIS receipt number. You give them that and they can look up if received or not.
Did you get a notification from USCIS that they mailed your package to NVC? Mine was send out 09/11 and it took 6 days from the send date to arrive at NVC. If they can't find it it means they have not received it.

Oh I see what you are referring. But yes I’m providing them also with my receipt number, which mine starts with IOE. It’s been since 8/28 that USCIS notified me through a letter in the mail that it was sent to NVC. However I’ve been calling since last week and they still say they can’t recognize the receipt number 😔

Yes
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
