What is 601A?

Good luck on your interview. Please do share with us on your experience and interview questions

Thanks. My husband is at his interview right now.

Hi. Did you expedite your case? This is less than the usual time frame that nebraska takes. This gives me hope!

Lol this took the normal time. We tried to expedite but the declined it.

Good luck!! Please update us! Would love to hear your experience!

We was granted visa today.

Congratulations... Please let's hear from your experience and interview questions

Well my husband went. I'll have to get all the details. He said 4 ppl before him was denied because 1 guy didn't know where the wife worked. My husband wasn't asked for the health insurance proof even though we provided it. He was asked about our daughter's birth certificate.

Congrats!!!!

Thank you

This is what my husband was asked:
Who filed for me
My wife her name
Where dose she work
I told him dose she have kids yes
Biological one
Let me see your daughter picture and he was so happy and he showed it to his coworker
And I was asked if I have my daughter birth certificate I said no he said why I said because of security reasons between me and my wife I did not spend more than 10 minutes because he was showing my daughter's picture to others

Praise Jesus, for his blessings. Congratulations, on your approval.

@rosiemichelle thank u. Its been a long, stressful journey!

Congratulations you guys!

Congratulations. Thanks for sharing

Congratulations to you and your husband, I'm so happy for you guys.....

Thanks for the information. Any notification yet from the DHL yet or any change on your visa status yet?

Idk where to check that. Maybe my husband knows how.

Oh OK. Well, it's on https://ceac.state.gov/ceac/ on immigrant visa status check. You can ask him for us please. We really wanna know how many days exactly to pick up the passport. This ban is scary

Hi long time...Congrats on your approval!!! I'm so happy for you and your husband.

@Odiegwu he got thr email this morning (friday) and picked up his passport/Visa. He interviewed on Tuesday and was told it would be ready next week but it was ready sooner.
@Kattyc thank you. Its been very challenging.

Thanks for the update. That was so quick. I believe it will be the same way for me. I know it won't be a problem coming to the US after the ban date

I hope those who are waiting on NVC for visa interview date, the ban won't affect them, this is my prayer honestly.

Congratulations! Is he going to fly to America before Feb. 22?

Please what birth certificate did your husband use? I'm confused. I have attestation of birth letter from NPC and age declaration from high court. Latest news on consulate review that they are asking for birth certificate from NPC

Wow Congratulations ......

@matma70 he arrived yesterday thank god. Lagos gave him so many problems. They canceled his flight 4 times! They wasn't letting ppl depart there. So he had to fly to Abuja to Germany to the USA.

@odiegwu he got his from NPC for 10k naira. @ezzy4life once yoi get your visa check the airlines because they made it very difficult for my husband to leave lagos.

What a blessing! We have decided to wait until after our 2nd wedding anniversary. I do fear trouble entering at POE but I have researched and the Proclamation says those with valid visas before 2/21 can enter. I pray this is honored.

From my understanding, the Lagos airport was having issues with planes landing because of dust blowing due to Harmattan season.
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
