Marriage - August 18, 2018
I-130 filed - November 26, 2018
I-130 approve - November 22, 2019
NVC DQ - May 14, 2020
Medical Date - August 10, 2020
Interview Date - August 24, 2020 (APPROVE)
My husband interview time was 8:10am, he arrived at the embassy at 7:38am and at 7:40am he join the line. Once in the line the security told them to have their interview letter, passport and passport size pictures out so that they could verify each applicant then he went through the airport type screening... After that he proceeds to the courtyard where he met this lady at a desk, she told him to remove his mask so she could verify who he was and then ask to see his interview letter, passport and passport size pictures then she gave him a number and told him to sit down until it's time to enter inside where all the CO's are ( he sat in the courtyard). Now its time to enter he said they practice social distancing and proper hand hygine, he was called up to a window where he gave his fingerprints and was asked who filed for him then was instructed to sit back down until he's called again ( he waited for about 5 mins). After that he was called up by a CO ( a young lady), she told him to raise his right hand to swear in and now the interview begins.... oh and I almost forgot they ask to see DS-260 confirmation page.
Questions ASKED:
1.If he ever been arrested
2.Where does he work and what’s his job title
3.Where do I work and what’s my job title
4.Where did we get married
5.Where did we go for our honeymoon
6.When was the last time he seen me
7.If we have any children together
8.If this is both our first marriage
9.On which one of my trips did he propose
10.How many people was at our wedding
11.When I travel to see him where do I stay
12.How many times did I travel to see him prior to us getting married and how many times did I come back after
The Co did not ask for any public charge form however I didn’t send him with any.
Documents she ask for
1.My 2019 w-2 and 2019 transcripts
2.To see Our original marriage certificate and his Original birth certificate.
3.His police record, passport and passport size pictures.
She didn't ask for any pictures or proof of relationship evidence (I'm assuming maybe cause I sent so much in the I-130 LOL)
Anyways after my husband answer all her questions she told him everthing looks great, she handed him the domestic voilence rights paper and told him he was approve and that he should get back his passport 1-2 weeks....he was out the embassy at 9:40am (SUPER FAST!!!!!)
We are both so excited and ready to end our 3 year long distance and ready to start our new chapter

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
