Event Description
Review Date : May 31, 2019
Embassy Review : My interview was scheduled at 8:30. 1. asked to show my passport and reservation document at the reception, then told me to organize documents as instruction handed. Nothing other than the required documents in the file. 2. Submit the required documents. 3. Have my fingerprints taken. Waiting time until the interview was about 2.5 hours. 4. Have an interview with the consular officer. The officer asked the following questions; 1. your fiance's name 2. Hos did you meet him? 3. Have you ever met his parents? 4. What did they cook for you when you visited them (this is a funny one!) 4. When was the last time you two met? 5. You married before, have you ever used a different name? 6. Is this his first marriage? 7. What made you bring to (the state where I attended schools)? 8. Which city you lived in you were in the student? 9. Your host parents are (the name of college basketball team (because I stayed the state where college basketball is big deal))'s fan? 10. Are you ready to move to US? 10. Did you read the information about domestic violence? Then "he said your visa is approved. you will receive your passport within a week. " The officer was VERY friendly and nice! My stay at the embassy is about 3 hours. Waiting time was very long, however interview was only 10-15 minutes long.
Rating : Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
