Hello, how did the embassy gets in touch with your fiancé and how long did it take cuz we are waiting on them our case has been forwarded to embassy here in Ghana.

After receiving the notification from NVC, we completed the DS-160 online, paid the fee and scheduled the appointment online. No communication from the embassy was needed.

Congratulations for ur approval I wish the same for my upcoming interview

Thank you! I wish you the best. My fiancé said the interview went well. Just make sure you have all the documents like the info with the case number as well as the actual receipt from paying the fee prior to interview scheduling. He was informed his paperwork was in good order and asked maybe 4 questions. It was quick and easy!

Wow thank for the information I have take note of that
I pray I have pleasant interview as well

Congratulations, when you look on the CEAC website do you see the words approved or administrative processing just asking we got approved around the same day.Does anyone know what administrative processing is and how long it takes?

Thank you! Congratulations to you as well. It is showing as administrative processing. Verbal approval was received and informed it could take up to 4 weeks.

Did you have to wait till the consular received the package from NVC before scheduling interview or once you got your case number were you able to pay fees, fill out ds-160 and schedule interview? We paid fees and filled out and submitted ds-160 but it says there aren’t any interview dates and I’m wondering if it’s because they haven’t received the petition package from NVC. What was your experience?

I think it’s because there are no dates available. They release dates at different times.

I’m sorry I was rushing and didn’t fully answer your question. Once we paid the fee we went ahead and scheduled the interview. The notice came like a week or so later.

Thanks for your reply we are patiently waiting for the visa

Hi, how did your get your visa so fast after the interview? did you expedite?

No expediting on our part. He was informed that the visa was ready the following week. Someone else who interviewed the same week and received their notification the same day he did, so I think it just depends on their timing. No real rhyme or reason.

Hi, can you please tell me where you got your medicals done and the cost?

He went to Akai and paid 2450ghs. However, they didn’t have the chicken pox vaccine so he didn’t pay for it.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
** Not all cases are transfered
