Comments : The interview was very easy for him. He arrived at the consulate around 7.45 or 8 am, was the 3rd person for a non-visiting visa and was processed and out by 9.30. They went over his papers, found no problems, and asked him two questions: How did you and your fiancèe meet, and where is she right now?

Overall there were no problems at the Sydney consulate.

Event Description

Embassy Review : My fiance arrived at 7.45 to go through security and recieved the ticket for 3rd in-line for immigrant visas. He waited around 30-45 minutes to be called back, then waited for them to look over his paperwork. Once that cleared he was asked 2 questions: "How long have you known your fiance?" and "Where is your fiance at the moment?" and was approved. He recieved his visa in the mail within 2 posting days
Rating : Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
