Consulate Review: Manila, Philippines
Review Topic: General Review
Event Description
Review Date : August 12, 2019
Embassy Review : He asked about 15 questions and at the end He said my wife was approved. Then he said it would take 3 to 4 weeks to get the visa. Which I think is wrong as it is already showing issued on CEAC
Rating : Very Good

Hi. I am surprised no one asked yet. Did you expedite? If not did you file I-129F along with your I-130? If not are you military? (Just wanted to cover the bases here) Thank you for your future response.

so, it sounds like you followed the K3 path (i129 after i130) and they approved your i130 first?
blank avatar King2565 on 2019-06-17 said:
Yes they denied the i129 and approved the I130. I got a notification that I had a status change on the 129. When I went to the site it said the 129 was denied and there was no change on the 130. I found out on Saturday when I got the noa2 for the 129. It said I was not eligible for a 129 because the 130 was approved

congrats! Many people I talk to say this doesn't speed up the process but it actually did for you.

I just got my i130 approval today and actually it’s one day earlier then the denial. It’s says 6-11 but I got the 129 denial first that was dated 6-12.

hi, I'm just curious if you had your NVC stage expedited? I am doing some research and references if NVC for Philippine cases is faster compared to other countries. Thank you!

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
