Hi guys! Did you ever make it through the NVC?
Am1880 on 2020-07-23 said:
Yes actually we ended up getting documentarily qualified from NVC on 4/15/2020 and then received an interview appointment of 8/12/2020 in Guangzhou on 7/6/2020. Unfortunately we had to request to reschedule the interview in Guangzhou as the difficulty of getting a plane ticket back to Guangzhou and the travel quarantine requirements and have not received a new appointment date as of yet.

Oh no! That is a bummer. Did you apply for an expedite at all? Are you guys not in China at the moment?
Am1880 on 2020-07-23 said:
No we didn't apply for expedite although I tried asking for one several times through both NVC and Guangzhou. Yes we are both in the US right now but my wife will be flying out tomorrow if all goes well!

Well, I hope you guys are able to get a new interview date soon! My friends are also waiting for their interview in Guangzhou, but I'm not sure when they documentary qualified. They thought the consulate was closed, so this is awesome news.

Thank you! Hopefully Guangzhou stays open haha...
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
