We did not expedite any part of the process and used a lawyer who was very reasonably priced. |

Embassy Review : |
It was simple and quite fast. They introduced themselves, I introduced myself. I was asked who was my petitioner, how did we meet, does she have kids, how many kids, what are our plans, what's my plans I'm the US, when do I expect to get married, and the kids names/ages. I did not have to give the affidavit of support info but we did submit it with the original application. They told me to expect to hear back within a few weeks. In two weeks I had my Visa. I did update my info on the page right when I left the embassy |

Timeline Comments: 6Hi, did you get an interview date yet?
We are working on it. It looks like the new dates will be posted June 1st
Wow. hopefully you can get a date early this summer.
Can you let me know what the next steps are after the nvc sends the documents to the embassy?
Did you call the embassy to have your packet 3/4 sent?
They gave me the numbers I needed over the phone, I did the application for DS 160 the packet 3/4 came two weeks later. I paid and scheduled my interview
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
