Event Description

Embassy Review : My Interview was on 08/02/2021 @ 7 am, after expedite interview request. At 6:30 am I was in line, precisely #3. we were ushered in to the Embassy after the usual showing of your Document to GSS agents. I was processed at the GSS window 4, and given #3 as my interview call up number. the 2 gentlemen in front of me were not ready with their documents, so I was called to the dreaded window 18 by a middle aged white lady.

CO-- who filed for you
ME---answered

CO---when did you get married
ME---answered

CO----how did you meet
ME---answered

CO---your address, and how many people live in the house
ME---answered

CO---how been to USA before, and how did you in
ME---Yes, gave her my I-601A approval Letter

CO---can see family pictures
ME---do not have pictures

CO---pulled out a paper, writing and telling me at the same time. I will have to deny you today and have you turn in your family pictures thru GSS (DHL)
ME---you can not do that Bcos nobody at the Visa desk told me to bring pictures. all 6 documents requested by Visa desk was also asked for and was presented at initial check in

CO--- hold on, looked at her Computer. Ok, I will have to rescind my earlier decision. tore the first paper and pull out a white paper at the time saying I WILL APPROVE YOU FOR A VISA
ME---thank you!

CO---go to the window, I forgot the window number and confirm your visa
ME---thanks

Visa confirmation window---looked at the paper, Congratulation. you have been approved for a visa. it will be ready in 7 to 10 days from today
ME---thanks

But i actually got the visa on 09-10-2021, because of visa backlog at state Dept and Afghanistan Pullout issue

Rating : Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
