Comments : Wife had appointment at 10:30 AM. Arrived at the embassy around 10:30. Gave in paperwork and waited. Got called up to window, interviewed was a man around mid 40's. She said he was pretty friendly and tried to make her comfortable. He spoke english to her but said that she can answer in english/thai. Asked only 4 questions.

Where did she meet me
What was I doing when she met me
Where will she be staying in the US
What did I do for work

He said you are approved and will get the visa in about a week.

Super excited and happy. Thank everyone for helping me get past this stressful event. Feel free to ask any questions.

Interview was on the 16th. Passport delivered on the 18th. There were no seal documents/envelope for immigration as our were delivered electronically.

Comments : Arrived at Ohare in Chicago on a weekday afternoon. Had to wait in line in immigration for a while since there was a lot of people. We waited together. Got up to the immigration officer, didnt, ask too much. Asked if the address is still current. Afterwards, he passed the passport to another counter and walked us over to a waiting area to wait for another officer. Waited about 10 minutes, a different officer came out with the stamped passport. Said green card would be in the mail in about 2 months. All in all, relatively smooth, no issues at all.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
