Comments : After the interview, the officer gave us a letter saying that the case is being held for review and just expect something within 2 weeks or so. Then on August 3rd (which is a Saturday), I got a notification from case tracker that new card is being produced as of August 2nd. So, it took less than 2 weeks to get approval after the interview.

Member Reviews:

Consulate Review: Mumbai, India
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : December 4, 2018
Embassy Review : We had our interview a while back on Sep 7th. But I am writing the review now. The interview was a little tough with a lot of questions to my fiance about me, what I do? What kind of music do I listen to? What did I like to do in my free time? When did our friendship turn into love? I also went to India for my fiance's interview. I was worried but he did approve my fiance. So, we were happy in the end.
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
