Have asked my member of the house of representatives to look into my case. We have been married for 10+ years and have a six year old who is separated from his father.

Called NVC today to get the information that my case was transferred from USCIS to NVC. Still waiting on a case # to be generated but confirmation that case was successfully received has been completed. USCIS sent the case on 7/29/2019 to NVC and it was confirmed by operator today received but not keyed in fully to generate invoice back on 8/6/2019.

Thanks. I'll keep posting updates until the end. My way of paying it forward. Good luck! Hopefully you have a speedy process!

NVC received my case 8 days after yours so I appreciate you updating your timeline. Best of luck in this process!

Pro tip (haha!): Make sure you have a blank cheque in your wallet so you get the satisfaction of paying the bill within 15 minutes of their email.

Haha thanks

Have your documents been approved by the nvc? We’re still waiting.

Nope. Some back and forth with our lawyer so we inky submitted on 10/1. At this point we are expecting to hear sometime mid-month to Thanksgiving.

For submission date of 2019-10-01, received update on 2019-11-18 from the NVC. Incorrect Canadian police certificate provided by agency in Montreal. It needs to be issued under the Canadian Privacy Act, not general visa purposes. Agency admitted their fault and will reissue correct certificate. NVC timeline to start back to zero once we get it resubmitted.
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
** Not all cases are transfered
