Event Description

Embassy Review : I did a lot of online research and saw online that some people took care of a lot of things before the receiving their packet answer that is what I did. We decided not to wait for NVC and took care of the medical exam, police report and even paid the visa fee and set up interview before the case got to the embassy. I did some calculations based on their usual responses off someone else’s timeline that matched the beneficiary’s country and it’s worked in my favor. Case was received by the embassy and we already have all the documents ready, now we are just waiting for his interview date.

Hello. I just received our case number for the k1 visa. Would you suggest taking care of the medical exam and police certificate now? I heard people are still waiting on interview dates.

Yes I would. Take care of those as soon as possible. It’ll make the other processes faster.

Hello, I just got our Noa2. I want to schedule the interview as soon as I can, but I haven't heard from NVC with a case number. We plan on getting the medical & police report within a week. However, what can I do to quickly lock in an interview date? Thanks in advance for your reply

Just go on the website. I think I posted it up there. Pay for visa fee and then set up your appt date

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
