Consulate Review: Nigeria
Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : June 27, 2019
Embassy Review : My husband arrived to Embassy around 4 am, stated he was the first one in line. However, once going through the security check, there were metal paper binders that needed to be removed; which put him at the end of the line (this all worked in our favor). At any rate, he stated that he waited for maybe 5 hours before being called to window 19, he was #24. He stated he wanted a particular CO due to him approving everyone lol! Needless, to say, he didn't get that particular CO. The CO he got called his number and stated to come to window 19. My husband was nervous, yet put on Godfidence...CO asked several questions and welcomed my husband to USA, gave him 3 papers. CO gave him instructions on obtaining visa, paying GC fee and who to call if any spousal issues arise (we won't need that). Thank God for doing THIS!!

Hi, We have almost the same NOA2 and NVC timeline. Have you attempted to call to see if your case number is ready? Following your timeline just in case.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
