I-551 was a new I-94 stub with my photo on it. My dates were messed up because we had to reschedule the interview. Out biometrics date was close to when the office had INTENDED to reschedule us for but decided not to. I had gone up to get my biometrics taken and went to the office to check on the interview date... on their system it was still for the next day but when they asked the office who was supposed to interview us, she wasn\'t going to be in town so she didn\'t mail out the letter (but they\'d already mailed the letter for the biometrics). SO we had to give them another set of dates that we could make the interview... so that\'s why it took us such a long time. |

It all went very smoothly and very positively. The consulate was very nice, asked a few questions and even commented on how I wouldn't have any problems getting a job in the US. Whole interview took place over the counter through a glass pane and was done in about 5-10 minutes. Received my passport back with my visa, was wished well by the consulate and left. (There is probably a more detailed posting in the forums...I'm writing this later |

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
