Consulate Review: Korea
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : November 18, 2022
Embassy Review : I was sent back to get yet another Korean criminal background check. I had so many to get since I lived in multiple countries long term. The vetting is really stringent. I had had one done for my time in Korea but was denied because it wasn’t done at the central police. So I had to make another appointment but that one wasn’t an interview anymore. I felt pretty comfortable at the interview itself. Our story was pretty amazing to tell anyways.

Do you have Cameron embassy contact or email

I don’t. Which embassy the one in Yaoundé? check on their website it probably will be helpful. I traveled from Seoul so i might not be the right person since different embassies have different requirements.

Hello! I was wondering how you paid for the k1 visa interview? I had a look on this site: https://ustraveldocs.com/kr/en/kr-niv-eft-265/ Could i ask what is "UNIQUE ACCOUNT NUMBER THAT YOU ACTUALLY USE TO MAKE YOUR EFT PAYMENT"? Thank you in advance! :)

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
