Comments : Interview was mainly focused on the relationship. I went in first, asked several personal questions and my wife went in after me and was asked the same questions, such as what is the color of your recycle bin. The interviewer then called us both and told that he is certain that we have a bona fide relationship and approved us on the spot.

Consulate Review: Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : September 4, 2018
Embassy Review : The interview went well and lasted lass than 5 minutes, the officer was very polite and asked a few questions like When did we first meet, weeding plans and if my fiancee had ever visited Brazil before. The whole process took about 2 hours, most of it was waiting to be called for the interview.

It is important to notice that I was asked for documents that were not listed at the consulate's website, like a copy of the US Citizen's birth certificate or passport.
Rating : Very Good

Hello, I saw your post that was so old. I made the same mistake so I just want to know that did you got any RFE at that time for this? quoting your post so can remember. "I just realized that I did not fill the boxes 24.b and 24.c. I only sent the last tax returns and I assumed that those 2 boxes weren't necessary. Does anyone know if this means I will certainly get a RFE in the future for that?" Thank you

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
