Comments : Delays:
*3 weeks due to RFE.
*2 weeks due to NBI clearance without an AKA.

Notes:
*Do not skip any item on the I-129F, review it with your partner at least 3x.
*If your name was spelled incorrectly on your birth certificate and you had it annotated, include the incorrectly spelled name under the AKA on your NBI clearance.
*Do not hesitate to call/email the USCIS or embassy. Just be patient and they will pick-up/reply.

Shortcuts:
*Getting police clearance from other countries (specifically Singapore): Have it sent to your relative/friend, then ask them to send it to you through FedEx/DHL/etc. It will save you at least 10 days.
*Medical exam at SLEC: If you have your case number but your application is still at NVC or you do not have your appointment letter yet:
1 - Prepare a letter saying that you are aware that your application is still at NVC and that you will not hold SLEC responsible in any way should there be an error with the case number.
2 - Attach a screenshot of your visa status with the case number.
3 - Go in after lunch on a Thursday and you will be done in 2-3hrs. Return the next day for your immunization and results.
*CFO Seminar: Grab a slot before they are gone. Would be better if you schedule your CFO seminar and embassy interview a day after the other, and just return to CFO for the sticker once you get your visa.
*Passport: Choose pick-up at SM MOA as it will save you a few days. Mine was ready for pick-up after 2 days it got issued by the embassy.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
