Event Description
Review Date : March 19, 2020
Embassy Review : I130 approved in mid October 2019 fast forward a month during the NVC stage I requested a NVC expedite it was approved December 27 and the file was sent to
Casa. Fast forward February 2020 no communication from casa - so I decided with
a congressional inquiry. Once again casa did not respond to the inquiry for a month. So I decided to make a us citizen appointment in casa and take my pregnant wife. Made a scene at the us citizen service desk with a fake Jason Bourne look like which ended in me walking away to one of the active interview windows on the other side and demanding to speak to someone (don’t ever try to do this) a Moroccan comes up and asks how may I help you - I have him a print out of the NVC expedite email. 10 minutes later he came back nervous and sweaty 🤨 that’s was it folks He asked me when would you like your interview ? (can you do it right now) ? Do you have the police/brith certificate. Of course no... HE said: when would you like to do the interview I SAID tomorrow 3/11 she was approved 3/13 visa on hand 3/15 CMN TO MIAMI my wife is home. 3/16 all Moroccan airports shut down indefinitely.

That’s great! In the nick of time too! What was the process like getting married there for you? How many days did it take?

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
