Harassment Level : 0
Comments : 30-45 minute wait in JFK immigration line. Once we reached the CBP booth (USC husband and children accompanied Ghanaian mom/wife through immigration), smooth as silk. Nicest officer asked for packet, opened it, stamped the photo page, took mom/wife's fingerprints, bantered with the babies, stamped all passports, and said welcome. 5 minutes max at the CBP booth.

I hope my Ghanaian son-in-law’s is equally quick. Congratulations!

I hope so too! If I can be of any assistance and answer any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out. I'm the American. My wife is the Ghanaian. I learned a lot through this process.

Do you get NOA through mail? Forgive my ignorance. I submitted my i751 almost two weeks ago. Nothing yet in mail.

Hi Guys! I just got your message. Absolutely, you should get the NOA through the mail. As you can see on our timeline, we got NOA within a few days, first by text and then the letter. Did you send a request for text notification with your application? I should note that I've see other folks take from weeks to a month+ to get NOA in a few extreme cases. The COVID-19 situation could also be impacting processing too. You guys have my WhatsApp, drop us a line of you need to, and do let us know when you get your NOA.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
