Consulate Review: Jamaica Review Topic: K1 Visa Event Description Review Date : December 1, 2006 Embassy Review : the embassy process could be improved alot!! But all in all not so bad. The actual wait time was 31/2 close to 4 hours. first you stand in line until they are ready to let you in, then you go through security No phones,no cameras,no electronic devices if you have one when you go through security they will cancell your interview. We left everything but our paperwork in the hotel safe. Make sure you bring a ink pen just incase you have to fill out a form. make sure you have 4 passport pictures and if you downloaded the 156 and 157 take two copies. Window four was really rude at first but she losin up a little. after they get all the papaerwork then you sit down and wait again. Then we went to window 9, she was pleasant. 6 questions and we were approved. Rating : Good
