Local US CIS Office Review: Seattle WA
Review Topic: cis_topic
Event Description
Review Date : December 31, 2019
Embassy Review : Officer asked for evidence of continued relationship and hard evidence of joint statements.

We showed our insurance policies (health, dental, vision), papers listing her as a beneficiary on my retirement accounts, and shared our tax statements.

We brought all our original i-485 evidence which included photos as well as any additional photos since the day we submitted our original i-485. Officer skimmed at the new photos but generally seemed to also be well prepared from our file.

Questions from Officer:
To American Spouse-
When did you meet?
How did you propose?

To Immigrant Wife-
What is your current address?
Does your current address have an apartment number?
Did your families know each other before you met?
Have the (immigrant spouse) ever been to the USA before?

and asked the list of Yes/No questions from the i-485 document
Harassment Level : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
