Comments : This process was difficult at best. From the medical to the interview at the US Embassy folks were mostly looking at my fiancé as a scam artist. I guess they have difficultly believing our love could be real and that this was not an arranged marriage for money or some other nefarious reason. It seemed like there was one road block after another in the entire process. This was probably a tactic to discourage many from the application process not to mention the money involved. You should be completely committed to the challenges in this process or you will be very disappointed. Thank God my fiancé is strong and that God gave me a legal mind in order to complete the paper work without an Attorney or I would be out about $6,000. Best of luck to everyone, Rayl E., Arizona

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
