Embassy Review : My Fiancée interview was on July 19 2017. We arrive there at 7am and her interview was at 8am. There is no parking lot there so your only option is to park along the street. I went along my Fiancee however there was confusion by the security guard and only allow her to go inside even though I show them my US passport. I sadly wave at my fiancée before heading back to the car. Anywho, she finally came out around 1030 with a smile on her face. I ask her how did it go and from her expressions it was good news. The consulate ask her four questions: when did you meet? How did you meet? Do you have any relatives in the state? How many sister do you have? And that was it. My fiancée told me there where 3 other k-1 and two of them go denied because they lack the documents requested. So make sure you obtain all the documents otherwise they will be tough on you.

Embassy Review : Today was a big day for my wife and I. So we arrive at the office at 840am. We went up to the guard and show him our IDs and the appointment letter. He then direct us to take out our personal belongings before the security screening. After the screening the security guard direct us to the desk where a worker will check us in. After he print us a tag number, he told us to go up to the second floor and wait for them to call us. FYI if you bring a translator, they will required to fill out a form. the second floor layout has four interview windows, a receptionist table and a door on the left leading to the IO offices. we waited up there and it wasn’t until 915am when a mid 50 male IO calls out number. We went up to him and I greeted him with a hello and a firm handshake. He took us to his room and from there I see the folder containing all of our submitted paper including the k-1 and aos document. He sworn us in and ask us to take a seat. He first ask me to state my name which o did and from my surprise he handed me our original marriage certificate. He then ask my wife to state her name and asked several question: when your birthday, when did you come to the US, what is your current address, have you even been convicted of a crime, have you physically harm a human being, have you join a communists organization, Do both of you have kids? After that we were approve on the spot and the green card will be mail in a week or so. He then ask us if we have any question to which I decline and we all got up and shake his hand. Overall we spend less than 15 minutes and couldn’t done it thank to visajourney

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
