Comments : Doctor appt. scheduled for Sunday, June 18, 2017;8/15/17 - Interview: Taha had his interview at the embassy. He was asked many questions. He was able to answer except he forgot my daughters' names. He was nervous. He walked out of the embassy not knowing if he was approved or denied. The consular asked him for biometrics from Kuwait as he lived there back in the mid 90s. Kuwait does not have an office that will give biometrics. Not sure what we will need to do if anything. Waiting to hear. He was told to wait 2 weeks from 8/15/17, which was his interview date. If anyone reading this has any knowledge, advice, etc...I would love to hear. In sha Allah, hope to be approved soon.

8/22/17 - this is a note I send to the embassy: "RE: Case No. CRO2017642007 - I am petitioner/sponsor, Kimberly Wohlgemuth for my fiance Taha Refaat. I would like to know how long we should expect his case under administrative review. The reason I ask this is that we are planning a very informal but small ceremony to be married in October. A few family and friends will attend and I want to send out announcements. Please let me know so that I may plan accordingly. Thank you so much.

Kind regards,
/s/ Kim Wohlgemuth"

Embassy Review : I believe we are jumping ahead too soon in this process. The fee was paid and we scheduled an interview for June 12, 2017. We have not received the NOA 2 and/or the packet of paperwork to bring to the interview, nor has any appointment been scheduled for the physical from a doctor. would you agree that this interview needs to be canceled for now until those items have been received?

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
