Consulate Review: Algiers, Algeria Review Topic: K1 Visa Event Description Review Date : October 9, 2017 Embassy Review : - hello vj . my experience in the embassy was like this _ day of interview 04 october 2017 - arriving at 1:15 they ask for id card & then they gave me a badge of entry ; i went through agent checking then go inside . inside embassy the lady in the front of door ask for passport & appointment paper & d160 confirmation & she asks to write down two available phone nembers i did what shes asks then i waited for fingers checking & requiered documents wich are _ 134 affidavit of support with bank statment & letter of employment _ birth certeficat + translation ( take aother copy of english & arabic paper of each one the asks) _military card + translation _non marriage certeficate + translation _ Criminal record certificate + translation _medical file & relationship evidence they took what they need & bring me back the rest after about 5 mnts of waiting they call me for interview ( i was nervous of course lol but i kept smiling ) _ he was a guy that do interview he asks me first to swear to tell the truth and ask me for about 20_30 mnts the folowing questions were _ whats your fiance name _ what did she works for living _if shes married before _if she has kids and what are their names and ages _ what my parents opinion about her _ if i am in contact with her parents & kids & what they think about me _ if am working _ how we first met & if i have friends in usa & if i have american fiends on fb _ what we use when chatt fb or skype or phone calls _ when our relation get romantic & when we decide to get engaged & marry _ when we will marry in usa & how thats all i remember . he said one second . he went inside & talk with other guy & woman ( like a Consultation about me ) then he came & said congrajulations your visa is approved . he asks to sit for a moment then a lady call me & say that they will call me in 10_15 days to get my passport & packet . thats all (updated on October 9, 2017) Rating : Very Good

Local US CIS Office Review: Saint Louis MO Review Topic: cis_topic Event Description Review Date : February 8, 2019 Embassy Review : We arrived for interview about 15 minutes early. From arrival to exit was 1 hour. Interview was about 20 minutes and were told by officer that everything looked fine and to expect a letter in the mail soon. About 2 hours later we received an email stating the card was being produced (approval) and that it should arrive in mail in less than 30 days. The officer did not pressure us and made it easy to answer questions. Harassment Level : Very Good
