Embassy Review : It was totally one of the most unforgettable moments of my Life! I had to checked in a nearby hotel because my visa interview appointment was at 6:40 am! I woke up before the alarm, showered, get dressed and headed to the embassy with an empty stomach! Because?who would have felt hungry when youre too anxious to even think about food lol! All i had in mind is how do i get through the hell hole or black hole of security checks and questions that are bound to be asked that day but when you know youre Legit then theres nothing to worry about!well lets see how things panned out!I got there at 6am,the guard outside looked for my appointment letter,2×2 photo,& my passport, then went to another guard to put me in another line,& there are few peopl who got there early already piled up!It was a series of waiting in line but i understand the sacrifice,i mean to be there waiting for your visa interview is already a milestone achievement!i was able to understand what every applicant had to go through so it dint even cross my mind to
Complain! I was feeling Anxious,Jovial,Panic-stricken,nervous wreck All in epic proportions! My number was called and went to a designated window for a pre-screening interview by a Filipina consul, she was polite and wasnt the way i expected her to be, well based on what ive heard that is! After that i headed to another window for finger print scanning! & had to go back where i seated to wait for the final interview by the CO! I was called upon and headed to the window where i was assigned to have my interview! I was relieved for a moment to see that the CO is a dude and he looks friendly! I took oath then things went smoothly and i was asked just the basic questions! I brought an armful of evidence with me just to prove them we are legit but all he asked were only photos,He just browsed a couple of pages and then fixated on the computer screen! I was nervous to wait for whatever result i will receive from him and then Voila! he uttered the holy "Approved" and i was like? (To myself)OMG! For real? Am i just dreaming?i was thinkin about my fiance and wishing he was with me,can somebody please slap me!? But i came back from my reverie and said Thank you so much Sir! I really appreciate it! Idk if those are the right things to say to him lol but i was just completely overwhelmed! He smiled and told me to go home and just wait for my visa and passport to be delivered in my house in 7-14 business days! It was an out of this world experience! I was Lucky! Inx: i realized how hungry i was when i went back to the hotel, ordered food and ravenously devoured them like a wolf! 😂
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
