Comments : At the day of my interview I was told my medical exam was expired (Hurricane Irma) and I had to do another in order to get a response. It is frustrating because the letter say submit medical exam if you haven't already. Anyways I have submitted 2 weeks ago and IDK when I will receive an answer. Which could make me lose my job if I do not receive it before my work permit expiration date.

Comments : This was a very unique experience. It took longer than expected to receive my NOA1, but no extra evidence was needed.
I brought my husband and son and they waited for me outside. When the officer called me She asked for them, said they are outside.. She was like good let’s talk. So on that day I learned that someone in the office approved my 10years green card, but DIDN’T stamp.. so in order for her to give me a final answer I needed to being my family in to confirm our information and if she had more questions… She went over some parts of the green card form, and said that she didn’t have any further questions . The interview was quick, respectful and good. I swore in the office, no ceremony. I am glad I got the officer that I had, she was amazing.
Of course the system was down for my city, so instead of the normal hour for the entire process, it took 3hours to receive my certificate of naturalization. But all good now!!

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
