Comments : My EAD was delayed because when I went to the PO (sub office)to mail my Immigration Medical Exam result/form I693 the clerk somehow put insufficent postage. I went to the USCIS office for get more info. on why I didn't receive my EAD and even tried to get Interim but I couldn't because I hold was placed and no one knew why. After 4 mths (February 2006) the mail came back and then I had answers to why there was a hold on my EAD. Because INS was awaiting the results a hold was put on my EAD. I went back to the PO with all my receipts and the mailed it free of charge with return receipt and all the good stuff. USCIS receiced it on February 20th 2006.

Embassy Review : Interview was no more than 10 minutes. Then she stamped my passport and told us that the card will come in the mail within a month. We are so relieved. It was such a breeze thank God. WoooHooo!
Harassment Level : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
