Comments : Embassy called my husband on Friday, told him to come in on Monday. When he showed they asked him for more proof of our relationship that they requested over the phone in which they didn't request anything over the phone. When he said that they had everything and they said they needed proof I was using his last name. I was there in Ghana with him and he had both my passports and showed them. They approved his visa and told him to come back to the Embassy on Thursday. The Lord has truly blessed us.

Event Description
Review Date : May 4, 2018
Embassy Review : The questions were few . The CO stated the evidence that we had about the relationship was fine but he wanted more information about my husband. They had his passport and birth certificate and that was not enough to prove who he was. He sent them a bank statement . We are waiting

Adding to the timeline: Note to all; getting married to someone is in a foreign country is very excited but the reality of all the difference is real . My Ghana husband scammed me from the start with no intention on ever staying with me. He became a citizen 12/2021. By 01/2022 the separation of bank accounts came and before the change in the phone password , I found information about his plans with a woman from his home country and years (yes years) of text messages. My time line is now I filed for divorce 03/2022 , I will not stay with a man who does not love me so he can save every dime he makes to build a future with another woman. Not all but these men are so patient and will endure so much to get what they want in the end.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
