Our interview date was on Sept. 29, 2016. I am with my children both 2 years old, they are also applicants for k2 so I needed to bring them with me.
We arrived there at 8:30, our scheduled time is 9 am. I thought it was a long line but they said that 9am schedules had already been called. So I just moved in front with my kids and my mother to assist the kids. Take note that they are both 2 yrs old... Toddlers!!! Since the medical they only allow one accompany me.. Please it is not easy to fall in line while my toddlers keep on running everywhere!!! But there is an area for kids, it has books and tvs!!! That's really good but I do hope please consider ages 2-3 for individually accompanied exception to another applicant.
So the interview right? There are 5 steps, first encoding!!! It's easy, just asking for full name and birth date but they needed to see the children. She just ask for their names and see there faces. Second step is data entry, so they gathered all the required documents and see the babies to so it's okay it really helps. Then the third one is a nightmare!!! Yes I wish that american guy be considerate I have toddlers right there, he wants to see it THROUGH the fingerprinting. I am doing that fingerprinting I get my children 3 times while they are running! He gets mad at me and keeps on saying he needs to see the children! I got them 3 times my biometrics keeps on repeating. I brought them 3 times he keeps on ignoring them then he wants to see them again. I hope he saw the girls first they are toddler sir!!! Really? Okay enough it's done... The next part is interview well this goes well, just few questions then she loves the kids and she just told us to not go to the last part which is releasing. She told us that it is not needed maybe she just love us....
But our visa, until now it's on AP... I wish we can still get there this oct 15.
Oh by the way, please leave your mobile phones before you enter the us embassy if you are not with or wou are not american citizen. |
