Comments : I immigrated the US on October 16 th. at Seattle Tacoma Airport just 3 days before our petition 129F would have been expired.
So i don‘t know if it would have been an issue since the visa was good till the end of November . Anyways the CBP Officer called me up as i arrived there around 5 pm and what can I say... its been the best expirience i ever had when it comes to immigrating the states. He called me up and asked me for the purpose of my immigration as he browsed through my passport. So i told him and he said alright, now i found it as he looked at my visa. So he asked are you sure you wanna do this? It aint to late yet if you wanna run and stay a bachelor. He smiled and laughed a bit. He pointed out that i made just on time due to my petition being about to expire. He kindly asked for the sealed envelope opened it browsed through it briefly looked and me asked me to scan my fingerprints and took the picture. Welcome to your new home and all the best to you and your future wife he said. I thanked him went to the baggage claim grabbed my stuff went thru customs ehich was super easy too dropped it for the next flight and proceeded to my gate.
So anyways long story short its been a great expirience after being worried if i could make it on time since i had a flight to catch going to SD California.
I hope this might help you guys a lil bit if you are a lil worried like i was.
The whole process took me not more than 5 min total.

Consulate Review: Frankfurt, Germany
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : April 4, 2017
Embassy Review : First of all I gotta admit, it has been a very pleseant experience with no hustle or anything.
I booked a room at the Hotel Am Wasserpark in Frankfurt which is in a 7 min walking distance to the Consulate.
The room was nice and cozy. The only bummer was that it was downstairs right next to the laundry room so there was a very strong smell of detergents and other chemicals but only in the hallway. Anyways it was a nice stay for a night. A Mc Donalds is right next to it so you can get Food all night Long. The Hotel was pretty affordable with only 60 € night.

However I did arrive a night before the interview, checked in and sorted my binder for the 100 th time. My Interview was scheduled at 7:30 so I walked there around 7:10 and got there at 7:15 or so since i was rushing a lil. So as I got there i was welcomed by a consulate employee and a security guy. Theyboth were in a great mood and asked me what Kind of visa i was applying for. I answered and they asked me to get in line. I think it was for window 1 but i 'm not sure no more. Anyways the one for US citizen so i waited for about 10 min to get my ticket number and then a couple more mins to go through security. Tthat took about 5 min total and everybody was real nice and helpful. After the security check I walked over to the main building handed over my case ticket that I got in the very Beginning as I checked in. I was pointed to the area W which was for K visa I guess. So I was the only one there as I arrived and was called to the window in about a Minute or so. i got my Fingerprints taken and the Lady double checked all Information stated on the DS 160. It took about 5 min or so. After that I sat back down and waited for the consular to call me up. so i sat there for about 10 min Maximum until I got called Forward to the window. Again I was welcomed by a Very nice and friendly Consular and she asked me if I wanted to be Interviewed in german or english. I went for english . The actual Interview was super short. She basically aske on when do I plan to move to the US if I get aproved and I said asap (probably like everyone) Anyways furthermore she asked me to tell her a lil about my fiances and my relatioship Background and why we decided to get married. I just told her a short summary of how we met and how Long we ve been dating and that was it. by the time i was done She said congrats you are approved and all the best of luck to you and your fiance. I was so relieved by but then she asked me if i ld be able to go by end of may and i said no cause I have some stuff to finish like quitting my job getting out of my appartment. So she said she will not state the visa in my passport yet and I should re-do my medical because it does expire by end of may and than the visa would also expire too. So anyways i did schedule my medical again and will get my visa stated the day the medical arrives.

So to any of you who might be worried nervous or scared don't be it's been an exceptional experience and I only dealt with extremely polite and friendly people during the entire process.

Oh and just fyi the entire Interview from the time I got there till i left was 50 min total.

So I cross my fingers to all of you out here who still have that Interview to come and wanna say thx to everyone who helped us out on this board. It really helped a lot.
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
