It took nearly a MONTH in AP (with nearly weekly emails to follow-up) before our visa was issued. We are waiting to pick it up at Aramex on Wednesday, Dec 7th 2016.

Consulate Review: Morocco
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : December 12, 2016
Embassy Review : My fiancé had his interview on Nov 7th. He said they took his money, finger printed him, gave him some general information, and then he went in for the interview. It was one woman in the room with him asking questions.

She asked how we met and he started to go through our story of meeting through OKCupid and our courtship after a minute or so (barely into the story) she said that was enough and asked if we had pictures together. He showed her pictures from the two trips I've done to Morocco. A man came into the office to look at the pictures as well. My fiancé believes he was watching the interview from another room.

The interviewer mentioned that we were missing one document (certificate of celibacy) which we would have to provide before we could get our visa. She told him to submit that document and his passport to Aramex as soon as possible and to go to the Aramex website to sign up to know when he can pick up his visa. They also gave him a white 221g form that said we were missing that document.

He said the interview went well from his prepective.
Rating : Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
