Consulate Review: Manila, Philippines Review Topic: General Review Event Description Review Date : December 13, 2016 Embassy Review : Scheduled for 6:45am. Done before 8pm. Process is organized and quick. You had to go through data entry/verification(?) and then consul interview (filipino), fingerprinting and then the american consul interview. The consul just asked me of the ff; My name/Fiancee's name Our age How we met When I last saw him How many times he visited How he proposed Where he lives/his occupation If he got kids If I have been out of the country/ which countries My current occupation She gave me the violence against women pamphlet and told me I passed the interview. My visa will be delivered by mail 7-10 days and that's it. No documents, pictures or any other proof of relationship was asked to present. You just need to be confident on how you answer the questions. Be also clear when speaking. I saw several applicants wherein the other consuls and the same consul who interviewed me were being scrutinized down to the last details and was being asked one questions after the other.
