Comments : My husband and I have been together almost 5 years. We went to the same high school and hung out with the same friends. He has been living in Mexico since 2012 and hopefully will be coming home soon. Luckily I've been able to see him every 6 months but unfortunately his family has not been able to. My life has been surrounded about bringing my husband home the last 4 years, now we are about to have the opportunity.

Consulate Review: Juarez, Mexico

Event Description
Review Date : June 24, 2016
Embassy Review : My husband had a good experience on his interview. He stayed at Juarez consulado which was a nice hotel and very close to everything. He was able to walk to all his appointments, medical exam, asc appointment, and even his interview.
He had his interview May 12, at 10:30. It took about 3 hours total. He was asked about his tattoos, his relationship with me, who he knows who lives in the US, and some other questions.
Even though the interview seemed to went well, he was unable to get an answer that day. He was informed that he needed to go through administrative processing and it would take 2-3 weeks to get an answer.

It took 6 weeks and we were told today that he was denied on 4 accounts.
Rating : Moderate

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
