Response to RFE arrived in August 04, 2016

On August 17th, we moved to Florida and the process was also moved.

An interview was scheduled on Oct. 22 in Raleigh, but than cancelled and rescheduled to Oct. 28 in Orlando.

The interview was fine (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!). Ü

We arrived at the building unbelievably sharply on time (a milestone for us). By the time the interview was scheduled, we were already sat in the waiting room. We had to wait for about 10 ~ 15 minutes until he called our number.

At the beginning he was skeptical but we were getting more relaxed throughout the interview. He lead us all the way to his office and before even sitting, he mentioned we were going to be under oath. Than we did the oath and sat down.

The first thing he asked for were bonding documents. Anything that have our names together (I used bank statements and debit cards -he asked for the actual cards-, insurance, car title). I also took some screenshots of the page of our bank, proving shared accounts. He accepted it.
Other than that, he asked for passports and state IDs.
He found strange the interview notice was delivered at the wrong address, but that I told him that was a typo in my AR-11.

Than he asked some personal questions.
Always polite, he did not make any tricky question, but he asked some personal information about the spouse.
He wanted to know how did we met, why I overstayed, how did the marriage proposal happened and why did I worked when I was not supposed to.
After that, he made a bunch of those questions to see if I wanna somehow hurt the nation (the same ones in the I-485) and talked a little bit more about some simple daily things, that could be tricky if you do not share a life with your spouse.

In the end and way more relaxed (both of us), he told us he was gonna approve and told us to wait 2 weeks for the GC to arrive in the mail, also about the ROC after 2 years holding the GC.
No documents, stamps nor anything else was given to us stating he approved it whatsoever.

The interview happened on friday. The following monday, on the USCIS website, they put the approval notice.

They are still sending things to the wrong address, even after approval...... Folks, DO NOT MAKE ANY MISTAKE ON THE AR-11!

GC sent in November 4th, 2016.
GC arrived in November 9th, 2016.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
