Embassy Review : My fiance had his interview today in Casablanca. He said the woman that interviewed him was nice but he was supposed to have the interview in Arabic and she only did it in English and he had to have another woman translate. They asked how we met, how long we have known one another, how long I was married to my first husband, did we want children (when he said "yes" the woman said I seemed kind of old for that and he told her there is still time... that was a little insulting). They asked to see the pics of us together in Morocco and my fiance said they were smiling when they looked at them and then looked at them pretty closely. They asked what he would do if they reject the visa and he said he would "do" nothing but he would tell me and we would handle it from there. The interview was about ten minutes in total and they told him that they will call him in a week and they sent him away with a paper that said they are not rejecting the visa but they have to do some more procedural checks in Washington and they would call him in a week. I don't know what to think, I feel like we are on a roller coaster.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
