Port of Entry Review
Event Date
Port of Entry : San Francisco
POE Date : 2016-08-26
Got EAD Stamp : No
Biometrics Taken : Yes
Harassment Level : 0
Comments : Flight leaving Manila was delayed for 2 hrs due to weather. Had 4hr layover in San Francisco, but missed flight due to immigration and customs taking 2 hours to clear non US citizens as they pushed them aside and let all the US citizens through 1st. Arrived at airport in pelnty of time, but due to POE taking so long, a large group of Filipinos where stranded for about 6 hours before any new flights would be leaving SFO.

Consulate Review: Manila, Philippines
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : July 28, 2016
Embassy Review : Fiancee said that the embassy was well organized, all people where at windows with numbers on them and where friendly to her. Consular was friendly to her and only asked her a couple questions about her and I. She said the interview process was very easy and they where all friendly to her, but she went in with full confidence and was very well prepared.

But waiting to go into the embassy, you have to sit away from the gate and the chairs are not owned by the embassy, but by other people and you have to pay to sit as well as for umbrella if its raining.

But from what my fiancee said, the interview was very easy and not as stressful as the medical.
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
