Comments : There were people asking visitors if they are with visa or not, as we entered the immigration. I told them this is my first time entering the states with my IR-1 visa but they led me to the line for ESTA visitors. I waited for about 40 minutes before one of the clerk asked me what kind of visa I have. I told her about my situation, again, and she led me to another line for POE. She said that if i had told her about my visa sooner, I would have had been already through.
There was no one waiting beside me. The guy before me took so much time but all it took for me was like less than 10 minutes. All I was asked was my parents names. Then he took my finger prints and told me that my visa is valid for a year and stated my rights as an immigrant. He was very pleasant.
I wish they hadn't let me wait at the ESTA line for a while as I was with my child, who is going through his terrible two. He was fussing a lot because he was bored of waiting. That might have been why it didn't take much time for my POE interview, though.

Embassy Review : Entered the embassy at 8:10.
At first in the embassy, I was called out to give out the documents. I had new I-864 just in case, but the person at the counter told me they did not need the new I-864.
I waited about 10 minutes to get my finger prints.
After that, I waited again for the interview.
The interviewer was a nice lady. She asked me how we met, where we went for our first date, what we did to keep our relationship while we were doing long distant thing, when we got engaged, how many people attended our wedding, if we have any children and what my husband does for living.
The interview was like a fun conversation. She was very friendly and nice.
She congratulated me and informed me that my passport with visa would arrive in a week or so.
I walked out the door at 9:10.
Rating : Very Good
