Comments : CO was very serious and didn't smile until the very end of our interview. We were a hour late due to traffic and lack of parking. Once our number was called, CO asked ONLY for all original documents. He keep a copy of our marriage certificate, Apt. lease, and some pictures. He asked my husband all the questions that were from the ds-260 background portion. After, he told us he would make his decision and we would get a response in 90-120 days. I said, you never looked at any of our evidence that I spent time to organize. He looked at pics of family and friends from different social events and said, I will grant you guys the approval:) My husband's card came nine days from Interview.

Consulate Review: Qatar
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : October 19, 2015
Embassy Review : My finance called a few minutes ago to inform me that the interview went well and we were approved. He had a 9:30am appointment. He was asked three questions by the CO. Were you ever denied a visa before? Did you meet your fiance in person and where? He answered, she took his passport and told him to pick it up in 4-5 business days. He was shocked and asked the CO TWICE were we approved. She said yes and smiled. He THanked her and left.
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
